The Influence of Human Resources Competence and Internal Control Systems on Financial Management Effectiveness (Case Study of the Bintan Buyu Village Community)

Abstract

One of the key components of achieving strong village administration is efficient village financial management. In order to assist village planning, execution, administration, and financial reporting, village authorities' human resources (HR) proficiency is crucial. Nonetheless, there are still a number of challenges, including poor comprehension of local financial applications, administrative mistakes, and financial reporting delays. The purpose of this study is to examine how human resource competences affect the efficiency of Bintan Buyu Village's financial management. By administering questionnaires to village officials involved in local finance management, the study employs a quantitative methodology. The results of the study are expected to offer an overview of the importance of human resource competency in enhancing the effectiveness of village financial management and become a factor in efforts to improve the quality of village government.
